Test in pista: un mix di successi e nuove sfide

Last week the Powertrain department experienced two important test sessions on the track, crucial moments to refine the performance of the car and push it towards new goals. These tests were supervised and managed by the head of the department itself, Francesco Quilici, thus ensuring a high level of professionalism and attention to detail. In the first test, the focus was on performance. Our driver Cristian Bianchi, chosen for his extraordinary driving sensitivity and ability to calibrate complex configurations, masterfully led the experimentation of new solutions. Starting from the established set-up of Varano, we explored innovative solutions, aiming to improve the vehicle’s torque response. The result was exciting: a smooth, productive and insightful session. The data collected testify to concrete progress that leaves us looking ahead with optimism. The second test, conducted with Luca Bertonelli at the wheel, was divided into two distinct parts. In the first part, with the cooling system active, everything ran smoothly and smoothly. However, once the second part started, with the cooling turned off, significant problems emerged. These difficulties highlighted critical issues and anomalous behaviour in the system, requiring a thorough analysis. Although not completely satisfactory results were achieved, the team is determined to undertake a post-processing phase to make useful estimates in order to validate all the collected data and solve these problems. Every test, you know, is a test bed where the line between success and challenge becomes thin, but that’s where our determination is measured. With our eyes always on the future, our goal remains to improve every component and surpass every technical limit.
